Dear Friends,

New Year’s greeting! Hope you are doing fine with everything.

I am very pleased to inform you that the “Good Luck Beijing” China Athletics Open will be held from 22nd to 25th May, 2008 in Beijing. We would like to invite your elite athletes of your federations to compete.

The competition lasts 4 days, consisting of 8 sessions, which include 4 morning sessions and 4 evening sessions. The whole competition will be accommodated at the National Stadium, which is the Venue of the Athletics Competition of the Beijing Olympic Games.

The events of the competition as below, for your entry reference,

Men: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m,1500m, 5000m, 10,000m, 110m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles, 3000m Steeplechase, 4×100m Relay, 4×400m Relay

High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Hammer Throw, Javelin Throw.

Decathlon

Paralympic Events: T54 5000m, F11 Long Jump, F55/56/57/58 Javelin Throw

Women: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m,1500m, 5000m, 10,000m, 100m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles, 3000m Steeplechase, 4×100m Relay, 4×400m Relay

High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Hammer Throw, Javelin Throw.

Heptathlon

Paralympic Events: T54 1500m, T11 200m, F54/55/56 Discus Throw

All the athletes of the IAAF member federations will be accepted. According to the IAAF Regulation, the athletes must be entered by their National Federations. The athletes and team officials will pay for their own expense
