Wen Yongyi (CHN) - Semifinal Qualifier

Huang Minhua (CHN, BJG) - Semifinal Qualifier
On whether his performance has reached his expectation:
"I think so. It's only round two. All I wanted was to get into the top three in this round. When I realized there was one athlete in front of me and nobody else was around, I knew I came in second."
On the comparison between this performance and that in Round 1:
"It's much better. The morning session was too early for me. I wasn't even awake. I usually perform better in the evening."

On his performance:
"Pretty good. 1 performed much better than 1 did this morning."
On the venue:
"The lights made me very excited, and the track has good elasticity."
On his rival Hu Kai (CHN):
"We both have injuries. Hopefully the injuries do not get worse in the final."
Hu Kai (CHN) - Semifinal Qualifier, currently a student at Tsinghua University
On the stadium lights:
"I think the lights are very good, so we all did better than in the morning."
On his studies at Tsinghua University:
"I have to put it aside for the time being. I will take more courses to make it up later."
On his strategy:
'This is only a quailing round. 1 didn't go all out. The men's 4x100m relay is my focus this time."
