(Beijing May 23) China's Huang Xiaoxiao clocked 54.50 seconds to grab the gold medal of the women's 400m hurdles at the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 China Athletics Open this evening.

Huang Xiaoxiao, Olympic A Standard qualifier and double Asiad champions, ended in first in the race but was disqualified for committing a foul during the race. Minutes later, the event organizing committee announced it was a misjudgment.

Japanese Kubakura Satomi took the silver with 55.94 seconds and China's Wang Xing clocked 56.35 seconds to win the bronze.
