On his performance:
"I'm satisfied with today's result. I'm sure I can get a desirable result in the Olympica. I have got throuth four rounds, and will in the 200m. It's just a warm-up. I'm sharpening up now. I have had longer training beforehand to get my body built up. You have to peak at the right time. My body is good now. My training will mainly focus on techniques."
On teammate Joshua Ross (AUS):
"He is a good athlete. I hope we can run together in the following competition."
On why he continue to train at such an age (35 years old):
"I started athletics at 24. I have a love for it. You've got to love what you dO. I'm always learning. A sprinter always looks foward to a perfect race, and it has not come yet even though I have done 9.93 before. Thera is enjoyment."
