Beijing, 24 May - Comments from gold medalist Zhou Yang (CHN, SCH) after the women's pole vault final at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Zhou Yang (CHN, SCH) - Gold medalist

On her performance:
"I’m not satisfied with this result. It is just my training level. I can be better, but I'm not adjusted to the atmosphere in the Bird's Nest."

On her plans for the Olympic Games:
"Last year, I attained the B Standard. So I ought to reach the A Standard in this event. Although the level of women's pole vault in China is behind the world's level, we still have a chance to take part in the Olympics."

On her injuries:
"My right Achilles’ tendon has been injured ever since I became an athlete. So I have been struggling with that injury during my training and competitions."

Zhao Yingying (CHN, ZHI) - Silver medalist

On her performance:
"I'm not very satisfied with it. I had planned to get the A standard but I failed, because I was ill and have stopped training for almost a year. I came back to training last November, and today's result is my season's best. I had some emotional problems today because on the way to the Bird's Nest there were too many people in the bus. I had to stand all the way here. According to the rules, we can't lie and rest the the ground as before."

On her plans for the future:
"I'll compete in the National Championships in Suzhou. That's my last chance to qualify for the Olympics. I only want to compete in the Olympics and get into the final, and breaking the Asian record has always been my goal."
