On his preparation for the Olympics: 
"When I go back I will start training for the Olympics in the next three months. But as for the goals in the Olympics I haven't thought about it."

"This is my personal best. The applause from the spectators encouraged me a lot. But I haven't reached the B standard yet. I will try to reach it in the Asian Youth Tournaments in June. Some old athletes were beaten by me today because of their bad luck to some extent. My result today should be attributed to my step-by-step efforts."

 

"The biggest difference between me and those old athletes is my direct expression of the feelings with some trifle gestures. I am fond of listening to the music and Big Four Stars in Hongkong. And high jump gives me confidence and spurs me to improve everyday."

 

"I have several pairs of spectacles, and this is the only one for the competition. It has already accompanied me for five years. The pair of spectacles is fastened well around my eyes, and I have little problem with spectacles since I am already used to them."
