On his performance:
"I am from Jilong, Taiwan. This medal for me is completely out of expectation. I’m here to achieve a good result, but never thought about getting a medal, because all the other contenders are very competitive."

On his strategy:
"At the beginning I just follower the others, but I thought because of the tight competition schedule we were all very tired. So I exerted all my strength, and then I got the second place. I want to thank them as well."

On his expectation for the Olympics:
"I will go back to my normal training straight away preparing for the Olympics. This time I came to experience the atmosphere. My goal for the Olympics is to make some new breakthrough."

On his performance:
"In the last part of the race, I succeeded in overtaking several other athletes. But my strength was not as good as it was in the qualification round yesterday morning. The major reason is unsystematic training."

On his rivals:
"There is not so much distance between our level and that of Tanzanian athletes. With hard training, I believe we can catch up with them."

On the tactics of Shandong Team:
"We failed to execute all what we have planned. The reason is due to the lack of strength."

On the weather:
"It is much cooler tonight than yesterday morning, so I was not influenced so much by the weather."
