The National Stadium, or "Bird's Nest," is currently waiting for the commencement of the Good Luck Beijing China Open athletics competition. Built by long-span steel trusses, this magnificent stadium is located within the Olympic Green, outside the Fourth Ring Road, next to the extension of the north axis road. It merges perfectly with the cultural and historical character of Beijing, as well as the successful preparation process for the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games.
