(Beijing, May 22) On the opening day of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 China Athletics Open staged at the National Stadium, all the five sprinters representing China in the women's 100m first round qualified for the semifinals. They are Wang Jing, Qin Wangping, Chen Jue, Jiang Lan and Tao Yujia. Among them Wang Jing and Tao Yujia achieved their personal best results.

China's Hu Kai clocked 10.29 seconds, his best result this season, to finish first in the men's 100m Round Two of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 China Athletics Open, which kicked off today at the National Stadium.
